The degassing plate has a rubber covering to seal it to the top of any jar up to 150mm in diameter. When connected to a vacuum source, it evacuates the airspace above the liquid to be degassed. This allows the air inside the liquid to rise quickly to the surface, eliminating air bubbles from the finished casting. The 725D Degassing Plate works suitably with 725V Vacuum Adaptor. |
